I've done DIY projects for years and I will say with confidence I will use these Hercules Hooks for items weighing 20 pounds or less which you will find in the average household covers 99% of the items hanging on a wall. Anything heavier than that, get out your stud finder.

I still recommend a stud finder, hammer and nail to hang heavier items. I will only recommend what I myself know to be true and a wall stud has never, ever failed me or any of my heavier art or mirrors.

For lighter items like what I've shown you in the picture gallery below.....using drywall anchor screws which do create a large hole in drywall is overkill now the Hercules Hooks are available.
